About Pastor Dave

Until my retirement 2 years ago, I pastored an independent Bible church in Northwest Montana for nearly 38 years. During that time I also helped establish a Christian school, and a Bible Camp. I am married and have children and grandchildren. The Wisdom of the Week devotional is an outgrowth of my desire to share what God is doing in my life and in our world, and to challenge you to be a part.

Our Amazing God

Is Anything to Difficult for God?

Records are Made to Be Broken

So, what’s the  world’s tallest building?  For some 41 years, New York’s Empire State  Building, completed in 1931,  enjoyed that distinction at 1,250  feet.  Since then, many others have surpassed it, including the World Trade  Center Twin Towers completed in … Continue reading

The Steps–and Stops–of A Man

One of my favorite verses is Psa. 32:8: “The steps of a man are established by the LORD; and He delights in his way.”  I believe the “stops of a man” are established (ordered) by the Lord as well. Solomon  … Continue reading
