About Pastor Dave

Until my retirement 2 years ago, I pastored an independent Bible church in Northwest Montana for nearly 38 years. During that time I also helped establish a Christian school, and a Bible Camp. I am married and have children and grandchildren. The Wisdom of the Week devotional is an outgrowth of my desire to share what God is doing in my life and in our world, and to challenge you to be a part.

To All the Saints

This date has traditionally been associated with the annual “feast of St. Patrick,” observed especially in Ireland, where the missionary Patrick was largely instrumental in converting that nation from paganism (the Druid religion in particular) to Christianity back in the … Continue reading

Uncompromising

So, have you stayed up too late lately watching television?  I bet most of you would have to say “yes,” after all the Winter Olympics come only once every four years. (We’re thankful for the DVR so we can only … Continue reading

We are blessed to live in a part of God’s creation where we have a great variety of displays of the beauty of His handiwork, both in the awesome mountains, lakes, streams, trees, and wildflowers, and in the birds and animals that … Continue reading
